Stone model scan

Stellaris 3D, with its ability to capture 3rd molars, allows evaluation of teeth positioning to precisely determine and measure the distance from other critical structures.

Impacted tooth

Assess underlying bone structure, shape and quality, and measure density and distance in just a few clicks. Optionally, use the one-click function to continue to the FONA 3D implant simulation software and place virtual implants or create a surgical guide.

3D for safe implant planning

Obtain superior clarity on maxillary and nasal sinuses – their morphology, pathologies and presence of eventual septae. In cases of bone augmentation, pre-op assessment is essential. A soft tissue visualisation can reveal pathologies of mucosa, such as polyps or inflammations.

Maxillary sinuses

Revealing the size and range of the inflammation in the bone can contribute to deciding the next steps of treatment. Stellaris 3D HD endo programs allow to visualise and recognise bone tissue changes, density and presence of borders, while at the same time revealing the root cause of the pathology – e. g. accessory root canal and its shape.

Periapical lesion

When used prior to endodontic treatment or for re-endo, Stellaris 3D, with its smallest 3D field of view HD programs, helps to see the canal system in three dimensions and minimize the risk of leaving some canals or accessory branches untreated. The assessment of tooth prognosis can become faster and more precise.

Endo complex root canal system

The progress of periodontal disease can be evaluated along both the upper and lower jaw arcs. A single scan can reveal furcation and help determine the next steps of therapy.

Periodontal disease

The exact position of the supernumerary tooth can determine the approach for extraction or entirely change the treatment plan. A 3D semi-transparent visualisation can help with understanding its relation to other anatomical structures.

Stellaris 3D TMJ programs allow to precisely identify the condition of both patient joints and evaluate level of wear or condyle fractures.

Guided workflow

in 3 simple steps

1

Program selection

First, select the desired exposure mode via the touchscreen – Panoramic, 3D or Ceph. Then choose the intended program. Stellaris 3D offers 8 different fields of view, ranging from 5x6.5 cm to the largest at 10x10 cm and multiple panoramic and cephalometric programs.

2

Positioning

Next, you need to position your patient. Frontal mirror, laser beams and easy positioning picture guide on the touchscreen are available to ensure your patient’s head is in optimal position to capture the desired region.

3

Image acquisition

Once your patient is ready, simply hold the exposure button. Smart backlight guides you through image acquisition and keeps you aware of the progress from a distance.
